For the past seven years, the Heart Gallery of Central Texas volunteer photographers have driven all over the state with skyrocketing gas prices, endured relentless Texas summer heat for the many outdoor photo shoots at less-than-optimal times of the day, and produced beautiful images from some interesting locations not necessarily of their choosing.  They always answered the call to photograph at the last minute, to take on a second or third photo shoot, and to capture the spirit of a special needs child.   The photographers truly are the heart of this project. But it takes a community to make things happen for these kids!  This project would not be possible without the assistance and generosity of many people, including:

• Sponsors and Foundations donating money to ensure the continuation of the project
   
• CPS, CASA, and ACT Partner Agencies working closely with us in so many facets of the project
   
• Foster Families assisting with scheduling, transporting and physically preparing the children
   
• Community Partners providing venues for the photo shoots, meetings, storage, etc.
   
• Professionals giving consideration for Web Development, Graphic Design, Video Production, Public Relations & Gallery Prints
   
• Community Supporters sharing the story of these children with the public and their colleagues

• The Children Themselves willing to pose for the camera and open themselves up to the possibility and hope of a family

The common thread in this community is the sincere desire to collectively do whatever is necessary to find a permanent, loving family for each and every child who is still waiting.
