Jacob is energetic and funny. He enjoys being active, riding his bike, and playing sports and playing outside. He likes to act goofy and make others laugh. He has been very active in his church’s youth choir, even taking the lead in a play.
Jacob would benefit from a family who is trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention and uses attachment-based parenting. The family should be flexible and provide him consistency. Jacob responds best to frequent individual attention, playful interactions, and nurturing. Jacob must build a trusting relationship with his adoptive parent(s). The family should be patient with Jacob, and provide him unconditional love. His adoptive family should be active and keep him busy and engaged in social situations. The family should also have a close network of family,friends, and community that is able and available to provide support.
